Cool enough game, although the levels felt sorta bad at points and the gameplay lacks flow, i felt like i was getting stuck on edges and things a lot. I did love the graphical style and whatnot though, it felt very N64.
Sometime on when your on the "You Failed" scene and at a weird camera angle view you can see the white void from where you start at the end of the hall (left side)
Some of the graphics/textures does not match up with the N64 graphics
The floor texture is too high to match up with the N64 style
The flashlight circle could be less smooth since I think that the light model was somewhat like 100 to 200 polygons to match up with N64 style
My ideas:
From "chillyspples" comment, I really do think it would good to add background music while playing
I do think that you can make more levels since theirs's only 10 level (too short)
As sticking with the same default bike that you could make more different bikes for players that choose to play as and unlocking them in the levels completion
Some stuff could have textures like the wall and the plate tiles
I would only recommend to minigames since this is very short and easy but although it looks good for a test
Thanks for the detail in feedback! I'm currently working on some of the ideas that you've listed, and altering some things, but I'll keep in mind the extra things you pointed out, thanks!
Hiiii, I've made a video about the game and wanted to share some feedback with you, hopedfully it is useful to you :D
-The idea/concept of the game is really intersting.
-The gameplay mechanics could be just a little bit polished on the controls side, but they are actually pretty good and solid.
-The visual style is well thought, and by working a little bit more on the level design itself, especially in the background of the levels, it could be even better.
-I would love to see a bigger version of the game with some extra locations that could be inspired in parts of a room/house to make it more interesting and dynamic during the gameplay. I think that the concept has a lot of potential on it :D
Hopefully this is useful to you :D, also if you could subscribe that would help me a lot :)
Wow. I was not expecting this level of feedback so soon, thanks for all of this! Since the build you played has gone live, I've reworked all the UI to the menu style, and I'm going to be designing levels 7-10 soon.
